Data engineers who are using or are interested in using data analytics offerings from Google Cloud, and any professionals who are looking for career progression/upskill in the data analytics space will benefit from attending this event.

As long as the live Q&A forum is enabled, anyone signed in can submit a question. To do this, scroll down below the live stream video. You’ll see the option to ‘ask a question.’ You can also up-vote other audience members’ questions, should you be interested in asking them as well. Note that you cannot down-vote anyone else’s questions, but you can remove your own vote.

The Google team will answer some questions either live during the event, or post-event to help provide more information. Other viewers may respond to your question as well.

Cloud Hero Game

Google Cloud Hero is a gamified three hour Google Cloud training experience using hands-on labs to gain skills through interactive learning in a fun and educational environment.

Anyone looking to learn the basics of BigQuery should tune into the game being hosted at the Data Engineer Spotlight.

You will need a laptop or desktop computer, an Internet Browser (updated versions of Chrome, Safari, or Edge), HTTP/HTTPS access, and access to Google Meet.

Create a Google Cloud Skills Boost account, which you will need on game day (if you don’t already have one). This was formerly known as a Qwiklabs account. Unsure how to create a Google Cloud Skills Boost account? Click here.

If you are not receiving my Google Cloud Skills Boost Account confirmation, keep in mind that it can take up to 10 minutes for the Google Cloud Skills Boost confirmation email to arrive in your inbox. We will be hosting the Cloud Hero BigQuery Skills game.

The game will be held on a Google Meet, starting at 11 AM PT.

Yes, we will limit participation in the game to 500 people.

Google Cloud Hero games aim to provide an engaging Google Cloud learning experience, deliver hands-on training, drive solution adoption, upskill accounts, spark excitement within accounts, increase the number of overall learners and learners in targeted accounts, and speed up digital transformation.

Stay tuned, you may be able to receive a prize if you are in the leaderboard after the game ends.
